Hello, my name is Woo Chi Shun.
I am a year 2 student from Hong Kong studying music.
Besides enjoying to work with music, I love learning new languages as well because I love to meet new people. I was an exchange student and I have been meeting different people around the world since then. Apart from  being the best music producer in the world, I aim to be able to speak at least 8 languages before the age of 30. Well. Currently I can speak Cantonese, English, Mandarin, some Swedish and a bit of Russian. So feel free to find me if you know some as well :)
To become a music producer has been a dream for me. Ever since my father bought me a MacBook several years ago, I have started to create music. I usually watch tutorials on Youtube to find solutions whenever I have difficulties. I have tried to write different genres of music, from orchestral pieces to Trap Music. I would like to learn everything that is related to music production, such as recording techniques, mixing skills, songwriting ideas, etc. I try to make myself a comprehensive producer so that I can work with different people freely once I master them.

I am also keen on culture and languages. I consider these hobbies as great tools for me to build networks. I am currently self learning different languages such as Russian and Spanish. Somehow I find that learning a different language improves my songwriting ideas. Moreover, being multilingual allows me to work with more artists that may not be good at English, which increases my job opportunities. On the other hand, my interest in culture allows me to understand how people think differently in different places around the world. It helps me to get along with people in a better way, rather than having normal greetings with each other but to know what they like, what they care about.

I have joined an exchange program organized by AFS Intercultural Programs in 2016. I was selected as an exchange student in Sweden for ten months. I have learnt to speak Swedish and experienced the culture of Sweden. I have also met new friends including local students and exchange students from around the world. The exchange year has transformed me into a more mature and all-rounded person as I have gotten over various aspects of obstacles. For instance, I have learnt to cooperate with people from different nations. It wasn’t an easy task as we have different backgrounds and share diverse thoughts, values on the same topic. Respect is the key. Therefore, I am confident in getting along with people even though I am from another continent, as I have experience with it.
